Long playing round Boudha, represents a 30 days lasting walk into the very heart of the Tibetan district of Kathmandu, around one of the most sacred monument of the Tibetan culture, where, for many centuries, Tibetan merchants used to take their rest and offer prayers.During my stay, I spent my time observing people and following their path. Sounds, images and prayers where filling the atmosphere so deeply that I ended up thinking that simple images could not tell the story I wanted to tell. That’s why I decided to convert a sequence of images into a multisensory platform, mixing the original sounds I recorded during my walks with images of everyday people looking as if they were coming from the past.
